Floral Park Lions Club 100th Anniversary With Fern Rashkover

Today’s guest, Fern Rashkover, has built a life around service, learning, and leadership. Her journey in volunteerism began soon after college. That experience at Bellevue Hospital ignited a passion for helping others that never faded. She went on to become Director of Volunteer Services in New Jersey, before switching gears to pursue a career as a New York City teacher—an experience she describes as deeply rewarding.

Fern also brings decades of leadership as a proud member of Toastmasters and the Lions Club. She’s also active in the Upstanders Club at North Shore Towers, where she continues to give back through meaningful volunteer efforts.
